Secunderabad (Telangana) [India], November 19 (ANI): The College of Air Warfare (CAW) in Secunderabad hosted the 36th Senior Officer Study Period (SOSP) from November 8-18. During the opening speech, Air Vice-Marshal KSK Suresh, Commander of the CAW stressed that this SOSP should serve as a useful forum for all participants for scientific interaction and to gain new insight into contemporary issues of geopolitical and military importance.

According to the press release issued by the Defense Wing on Thursday, the strategic-level interactive program was to provide course participants with a forum to broaden their perspectives and perceptions on important national security dimensions and developments. current at regional and global levels.

The SOSP brought together 22 officers of the rank of Air Commodore and equivalent from the three services. In line with the objectives of the program, several nationally and internationally renowned speakers addressed the participants, including Lt. Gen. Devendra Pratap Pandey, TD Air Marshal Joseph (retired), Air Vice Marshal R Isser (retired) and others.

“The speakers covered a variety of topics including the application of air power in sub-conventional operations, aerospace power, Mil-Media relations, CMR: A Civil Perspective, Unrest Dynamics in JK, BMD program of the India, Space: The Critical Domain and Significance of QUAD, etc. A two-day seminar and discussion was organized on November 15-16 by panelists from United Service Institution of India (USI), during which ten panelists addressed contemporary geopolitical issues on national security as well as India’s relations with its neighbors, ”the press release said.

The SOSP ended Thursday with the closing speech by Air Vice-Marshal KSK Suresh, Commander of the CAW. (ANI)
