A seminar on “Attitudes and Opinions of University Students in Pakistani Cities” was held at Okara University (UoO) on Tuesday.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – November 23, 2021): A seminar on “Attitudes and Opinions of University Students in Cities of Pakistan” was held at Okara University (UoO) on Tuesday.
A professor from George Mason University (USA), Dr Mehtab Syed Karim, presented a detailed analysis of the cultural and demographic diversity of Pakistani students.
Dr Mehtab discussed the state of student enrollment in Pakistani educational institutions and also presented a cross-cultural comparison in this regard. He also tabled various policy recommendations to improve the enrollment rate and mitigate dropout tendencies.
The chairman of the chemistry department, Dr Ghulam Mustafa, coordinated the event.
Okara University Vice Chancellor Prof. Muhammad Zakria Zakar welcomed the guest speaker and said it was sassy to consider various demographic factors in order to increase enrollment in the educational institutions and provide quality education to students.
Dr Mustafa, in his thank you note, commended Dr Karim for sharing his international exposure and empirical analysis with faculty members, seeing it as extremely useful for future admissions policies.
